From Susan
Every client of MHR has a unique story to share. These stories may involve issues such as insufficient data collection, delayed reporting, the departure of subject matter experts, unresponsive delegates, or the complexities arising from a corporate merger or acquisition requiring the untangling of documents and processes.
At MHR, we often say, “We’ve seen it all,” and this motivates us to continually develop new products, services, and approaches to better serve our clients. As we embark on our 34th year in business, we want to express our deep gratitude for the support and trust you have shown us. You are the driving force behind MHR, and we truly appreciate you.
An Accreditation Manager from a large West Coast multi-product health plan recently said: “One of the things I reflected on in my decision was how much I enjoy partnering with the MHR team. Not only do you all bring such a depth of expertise, but the ability to keep members centered in the NCQA framework and to guide us in our journey. I am so proud we got 100% in our last survey and credit MHR so much for our ability to demonstrate our quality commitment—and still know we can continue to improve.”
Our key accomplishments in 2024 will benefit clients in 2025 and continue to position MHR as one of the most frequently searched NCQA Accreditation consulting firms.
- Completed the refresh and updates of MHR’s proprietary tools and templates with the 2024 standards, making them readily available for your immediate and long-term needs.
- Completed adding our website’s new Products page to take the guessing out of what we offer and their prices.
- Developed a new Staffing Assessment tool and consultation service to help guide organizations in their staffing model for NCQA support and deployed a new train-the-trainer program for mock file audits.

- Added our first complimentary webinar for clients and non-clients in May.
- Expanded MHR’s organizational structure with individuals taking on new roles and responsibilities in operations (including a Chief Operations Officer), finance, marketing, and client consultation and hired three new consultants.
- Expanded communications to our clients with new LinkedIn posts and sought input from our clients with a client satisfaction survey.
- Continued monthly blog posts on challenging NCQA topics for clients to use in their ongoing staff training.
- Conducted strategic planning for 2025.
- Began having separate Statement of Work (SOW) meetings between potential clients and the assigned team lead prior to final contracting.
